I'm happy to announce that there is a new dredg online blog that everyone should check out. The address is dredgonline.blogspot.com and news stories and other dredg related info will be posted and everyone can post their comments. Also, the tour dates section has been updated with the rest of the European and Australian fall dates.
8.20.09: | well needed update
Sorry everyone for the lack of updates, it's been a busy summer all around. The band is just about to wrap up their summer tour at the end of the month in LA. A new interview has just been posted on YouTube with Gavin and Mark. They discussed their upcoming SPIN benefit with Salman Rushdie in NYC on October 1st for Housing Works. They also talked about Deftones bassist, Chi Cheng, who has been in a coma following a serious car accident last November and how The Pariah is dedicated to Chi. 5.18.09: | out with the old, in with the new
Just wanted to let everyone know that we're in the process of switching servers between tonight and tomorrow so if some pages do not work or if the site doesn't come up right away that is why. Everything should be finished by tomorrow night at the latest. Also, if you haven't heard, the inevitable has happened, the new album has been leaked. If you do download it, please buy the actual album when it comes out because the band needs all the support we can give them. If you haven't heard it yet, it is well worth the wait. This very well may be their best album to date. Pre-order your copy here. Also, the new video for Information has just been released, check out the videography section to check it out. Lastly, lyrics for Gathering Pebbles have been added to the lyrics section along with Saviour, more songs will be steadily added.

It's hard to believe that the site has been up for 2 years already. I just want to thank everyone for their continued support of the site especially the dredg online forum community. And an obvious thank you to the band for their continued inspiration and for their incredible music that has no doubt touched each and everyone of us in a unique way. Thank you.
4.2.09: | new & rare live audio package
A new audio package has been posted in the llve audio section featuring many new tracks from The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion performed live including Saviour, Quotes, Ireland & I Don't Know. The package also features many older songs and some tracks that didn't make the cut of the new album. The individual files for the live versions of Saviour and I Don't Know have also been posted in the live audio section. So if you haven't gotten a taste of the new album yet, click one of the links above and check them out.

More spring tour dates have been announced, check out the tour dates section for the complete listing. dredg will also be playing the SXSW this year, click here for more information on the festival and specfic times. The SXSW Music Festival is taking place in Austin, TX from March 13-22. As always, dredg online will bring you the latest dates as they are announced.

1.22.09: | album release pushed back
Sorry for the lack of recent updates, I've been very busy over the past few months. As I'm sure most are aware, dredg has pushed back the release for their new album for sometime in April. Perfection is well worth the wait. The band also has a tour planned for the Spring as well, so as soon as those dates become available they'll be posted in the tour dates section. I want to thank all the fans for your patience and continued support for the site. Also, don't forget to sign up for the new fan forums!
11.14.08: | live set/release date
I was lucky enough to catch dredg's show this past Tuesday at Water Street Music Hall in Rochester and what a show. They played some of their new material and it sounds amazing. The opening acts Judgement Day and Telescreen were much better than I expected, great job all around. I took some low quality pictures on my phone of the show that you can check out here, most of them are of Gavin and Mark because of where I was in the crowd. Also, I found out Tuesday at the show, but I'm sure everyone has mostly heard by now; the new album has a set release date of March 24th, 2009. The album is still untitled, but with the release little more than four months away, the title should be announced relatively soon. That's all for now, cheers!

The band has recently recorded a cover of "Astronomy Domine" for the Syd Barrett tribute album entitled "Like Black Holes In The Sky." To check out the Like Black Holes In The Sky MySpace page, click here, you can even stream the entire CD and hear the new dredg song. And after previewing "Astronomy Domine", you can download it on iTunes. Also, yesterday I uploaded the complete "Orph EP" to the rare audio section, and while you're there be sure to read the bold text. 9.9.08: | fall tour dates & more
dredg has just announced the dates for their Fall US tour, check out the tour dates section for all the info. I would like to get a concert reviews section started but of course I need reviews, so if you are planning on attending any of the upcoming shows, jot down some notes and write up a quick review of what you thought of the performance and email it to us at dredgonline@gmail.com, it will be greatly appreciated. dredg has also posted some video leaflets on their myspace page, check them out here. After the fall tour the band plans hitting the studio head on to record their new album, more details on that as soon as they emerge. Stay tuned..
6.23.08: | album and tour update
dredg has announced some late summer shows in Europe, check out the tour dates section for the current list, more dates will be added as they are announced. The band plans on wrapping up production on their latest album by the beginning of July and a tentative release is scheduled for late January, early February. Also, this October/November, dredg plans on an extensive 6 week tour throughout the East Coast and Midwest, those dates will be posted as soon as they are available.

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! It has been quite a while since any real news has surfaced, not to mention I've been extremely busy with school. But good news, I got off my lazy ass and added the new April tour dates which are taking place throughout California, click here for the complete listing. Finishing off this mini tour is a performance at Coachella on the 26th. dredg will finally be entering the studio in May to begin recording their fourth full length effort. 10.8.07: | a well needed update
dredg has just finished their fall tour with As Cities Burn and should be heading into the studio soon to begin recording their new album. Dino has posted some blogs about the tour on their myspace which is located here, so be sure to check those out. 8.14.07: | new dates
There are the recently announced dates for the Sept-Oct west coast tour available in the tour dates section. Soon after the tour, dredg will be entering the studio to begin work on their 4th full length effort which is planned to be released sometime next year. New songs will be played on this tour, so grab your tickets today!
7.10.07: | some much needed news
According to the official site; "dredg are currently embarking on the productive journey through the chaotic." They have been working steadily at their upcoming 4th effort. They have about 12-15 demos completed but only the select few will make it past the final cut. Some possible track names (updated from February) are: Quotes, Ireland, Light Switch, Wondrous Miracle, & Push Away. A live excerpt of Push Away can be viewed here and a live video of Ireland can be viewed here. The band plans to tour the west coast during September and enter the studio soon thereafter. As always, stay tuned to dredg online and dredg.com for the latest.

6.26.07: | drew's abstract artwork appears on abstract record
Some of Drew's original artwork is being featured on the new "The Sound of Animals Fighting" record being released through Equal Vision Records. Information about the album and a preview of some of Drew's work can be viewed on the official site for the album, thesoundofanimalsfighting.com. This album is a reissue of the out of print EP, Tiger & The Duke. The album is in stores now, click here to order your copy. This is one of a number of projects the members of the band are currently undertaking while a new record is still in the works.
5.18.07: | drew participates in book club at spin.com
According to the official site, Drew has been selected to participate in Spin.com's monthly online book club. Each month, a different artist will select a book that has impacted their music career and the club will read and discuss the book. There is no word on which book Drew will be selecting yet. The book club members include readers from such bands as Matches, Cardigans, Cobra Starship, the Hush Sound, Circa Survive, and Street to Nowhere. Click here to check out the Spin.com book club.
4.28.07: | long days and vague clues
Dredg's new album, which has no release date or title, is becoming more and more an up and coming thing. In the last few months they have been writing new songs and experiments. A few possible track names have been announced, which are Ireland, Hurricane Felix, Pieces of Gold, Wondrous Miracle, Fleeing To Mexico, It's Not Worth It, Long Days And Vague Clues, 2001, and ****ing Smile Pt. 2. Dredg says that there is also a concept being worked on and they are very exciting about it, but they are not sharing any other information at this time besides the clue "singk." More information will hopefully be available soon about the new album and other projects.
